Dhofar
911
Lunaites
of this group comprise with Dho 908 and Dho 1085 a very old meteoritefall,
which can be seen at the non existing melting crust.
However in the
cut it shows, that this lunaite is very fresh inside, maybe the result
of the very high density of the material.
It consists of a homogenous
impact-melting glass in which are included a multitude of optically
and scientifically very interesting clasts-
brownish impact-melts. partially with very big white anorthite clasts, dark shockveins
as well as reddish and dark clasts of rare lunar stones
(troctolithes and norites).

It is one of the most beautiful lunar meteorites ever found!
